Core skills of mountain bike riding!
The movements of all mountain bikes when riding on forest roads are based on five core technologies. In summary, the five core technologies are observation, balance, braking, steering and pedaling. When encountering any obstacle, the first thing to do is to recognize its difficulty (applying observation power), and then use the correct skills; for example: balance, braking, steering or pedaling. In many difficult riding situations, you must combine these skills; for example: balance at the same time, brake and turn.
When we refer to “obstacles”, we are referring to anything that might get you off the horse: bumps on the road, gravel roads, sharp bends… etc. In other words, obstacles are anything that just “cycling” is not enough to pass.
The purpose of examining mountain bike skills through these five techniques is to allow you to break down the reaction through obstacles into the skills you will learn. In this way, when you face a scary route, you will see it as the actions you already do are connected in front of you, but you have not been able to arrange these actions in order.
Failure to overcome an obstacle often means that a particular technology is insufficient. For example: when you rush out of the corner and fall into the car, it may be because you are not looking at the path but the drop on the roadside (use of observation power), or you cannot balance when cornering and you lose control of your tires (balance) ), or the speed of entering a corner is too fast, excessive braking causes slipping (brake).
To ride a forest road safely, you must practice these skills step by step. In a safe environment, start from the most basic movements and gradually increase the difficulty. Be sure to find a gentle terrain and practice the basic skills until you are proficient, and then challenge the more difficult rocks, steep slopes, tree roots and slippery terrain.
Of course, you will skip these procedures every day and directly challenge the most difficult route. If you are lucky, you will retreat with a small injury all over your body: watch the day more
What can happen is that you are pushing almost the whole road, and you are finally depressed; either you are tense along the road, or you are half-dead by the thrilling road conditions.
Core Technology: Observation
Before performing each action of the mountain bike, be sure to observe your riding environment and how you and your bike will pass. Alert at any time
Feeling which direction you are going to go, how you can ride, and how your car will react to road conditions are all tricks in themselves.
Look forward to the route you are going to take
It sounds simple enough, but most crashes caused by wrong routes are caused by looking at things outside the path, and looking forward in the direction where the wheels should go is the point. Looking at other things while riding a bicycle, the tilt of your head will cause you to lose your balance, and then the whole person will drift in that direction. So ignore the things that are not on the route, and focus on the route you are going to take.
